Hi, I’m Stephanie Blanco, LCSW

I am a bilingual (Spanish and English) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate some of life's most challenging moments. Born and raised in New York City, I also spent two years living in Houston, Texas. I earned my undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and my Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from Columbia University. I am licensed to practice in both New York and Texas.

My professional experience includes working at The Center for Comprehensive Health Practice, NewYork-Presbyterian Children’s Hospital, and Memorial Hermann Hospital. These roles have equipped me to provide compassionate support for a wide range of challenges, including grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, chronic illness, and life transitions.

My Approach

I start by listening closely to understand where you need the most support and help you work toward your goals. Using trauma-informed care, empathy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing, I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can express yourself openly and address the challenges that are impacting your well-being.

My Vision

To provide a space where you can challenge yourself, speak freely, feel safe, and be guided to be the best version of yourself, for you.

My why

I was lucky enough to be provided with therapist throughout my whole life who have guided, supported, and educated me to be the best version of myself. I want to provide that to others as well.
